Scandic Copenhagen

The hotel was brilliant, even prior to our stay I contacted them to confirm they had definitely received our booking and they had different options for different languages on the phone system so you were put through to someone who could speak your language. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were offered a room upgrade to a suite upon arrival for a small extra fee which we accepted and we were pleased that we did our room was wonderful. Beautiful views of the city including the lights at Tivoli Gardens. There was a high quality comfortable sofa bed in the living room with a table and chairs and a chaise lounge so plenty of space for relaxing. Our bed in our bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. We had breakfast every day of our stay which was usual buffet style food the only small issue we had is we don't eat bacon and they put bacon into the has browns and the scrambled eggs on some days which meant we could'n't eat them - I understand this is quite a specific issue and we are in the majority here not eating bacon, there were other food items so not an issue as such just a shame for us personally. The location was excellent a couple of minutes walk to the bus station, 5-10 minutes walk from the train station and Tivoli Gardens, lots of places to eat and drink and convenience shops are all right nearby and it is opposite the Planetarium.

The junior suite was large. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 childen. The location is a short walk from the train station and Tivoli (about 10 mins). The breakfast was lovley and had a large selection of hot and cold food. Use the QR code in the room to book your time the night before. 9am is probably the busiest time but we still got a table.

Breakfast buffet was very impressive, the staff also incredibly hospitable and helpful apart from one barman.
